Out standing work on the fur and colors! :D But as a melee combat artist, I must say this looks a bit stiff. the victim looks like he’s just standing there with a blank expression and minimal reaction. I would think a painful or horrified expression along with a struggle would appeal to the moment a lot more.

:? As for the art in general: The form is off in a few places. First the sword looks like a straight claymore, but its entrance angle and exit angle of the blade is not the same, its like the sword is bent inside the victim.
But the biggest and most noticeable error is the eyes, they are not square with the face. for example, draw a line between the two top K-9 teeth as they appear to be in proper alingment to the face and body. Then draw a line between the of the two eyes from center to center. If the face was properly aligned, those lines should be parallel, but they're not. The nose is also out of allinment. I would personally realing the eyes and nose to match the angle of the teeth. but thats just my interpretation. No hard feelings intended :)

Very nice picture, interesting in it's disposition and action. You have done some great work with shading, textures and anatomy, although the wolf could have had a thicker neck ;)

What would a wolfman with a sword do for a klondike bar?

This.

Pretty awsome art ya got there! I see it as more symbolic than literal. The idea of someone being betrayed by someone who acted like their friend and who they trusted. "A stab through the back still goes through the heart"-me

Hehe, "Hey there buddy, how are y- DIE!"

Not quite enough emotion in the wolf's eyes, I think. If you could figure out a way to make him have eyebrows, and squint them in anger, that would do wonders, I think. Like this photo?

Also, I think right eye may be too far up.

When a sword is thrust through the body, it is more realistic if the blade is turned on its side so it can pass through the ribs easier.

I can't quite tell what the person is feeling at this act of treachery, but the other's face is absolutely fantastic, and the emotion in his eyes is stunning, and very well shown. I also love the way the fabric/clothing clings to his hip and falls over him.
This is really good! I love seeing submissions from you!
